St. Paul Academy and Summit School –
Huss Center for the Performing Arts
The Huss Center for the Performing Arts is a new addition to the Randolph campus for the Upper School of St. Paul Academy. With the concept of putting the arts on display, the design team sought to create a new entry sequence into the campus that would seamlessly tie into existing circulation.
The lobby, the new front door for the Upper School, is as active as it is artful. Decorative acoustic panels ripple down the corridor, using subtle tones of red that become a common thread, both on the interior and exterior. At the heart of the Huss Center is the 650 seat state-of-the-art auditorium, a space that supports a range of programming, from senior speeches to school musicals to performances by visiting musicians.
